Course Description
This course is an in-depth program for those who seek a hands-on approach to learning systems analysis and design. It encompasses all relevant concepts, tools, techniques, and their subsequent applications. Students will acquire knowledge of both classical methods (structured analysis and information engineering) and emerging methods (object-oriented engineering and rapid application development).
Additionally, students will gain practical experience with systems analysis and design deliverables through analysis of real world scenarios. While prior programming knowledge is not assumed, students are expected to have taken a least one introductory course in computer-based information systems. However, all fundamental principles of system analysis and design will be reviewed in full.
